The Challenge
Censeo Financial struggled with document management across thousands of mortgage files stored in SharePoint. Finding specific documents was time-consuming, taking staff 10-15 minutes per search. Metadata was inconsistent across files, and there was no way to track document versions or access history. Staff needed an intuitive interface to manage documents efficiently without extensive training.
Our Solution
We developed a comprehensive document management platform consisting of a NestJS backend API that interfaces with SharePoint, paired with a React frontend that showcases the full capabilities of the API. The React UI provides an intuitive interface for document search, upload, and metadata management. We integrated Azure AI for intelligent document classification and automatic metadata extraction, making the system powerful yet easy to use.
